Module scope: This module provides contamination and survey calculation support for screening, training, and documentation. It does not replace approved survey procedures, instrument calibration requirements, regulatory release criteria, skin dose assessment, or qualified health physicist review. Tools apply gross−background algebra, declared efficiency, and area normalization only—they do not embed regulatory limits, full MDA programs, or instrument-specific calibration curves.

  • Declared wipe efficiency is treated as a single scalar; nuclide-specific counting efficiency, removable vs fixed partitioning, and energy-dependent response are not modeled.
  • Nonuniform activity across the wiped template can bias dpm/100 cm² versus the nominal wiped area assumption.
